Synergy Engineering is a Multi-Disciplinary Design and Engineering Consultancy for various industries including the Oil & Gas, Power, Renewable Energy and General Industry.Founded in 2007, the company has grown in terms of the amount of personnel, service portfolio, market coverage and number of client. Head Office is located at Tangerang, Indonesia is a purpose built pair of bridge - linked four storey buildings with a maximum capacity of over 400 people.

Synergy Engineering has been an active player in the Indonesia energy sector since 2007, offering complete engineering lifecycle requirements of a project. We provide comprehensive technical services primarily to Energy sector including Oil and Gas, Renewables Energy, Solar, and general industry. Our clientele encompasses major Field Operators, Plant Owners, EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) contractors and global engineering design consultancies.

Synergy Indonesia has three offices located at Jakarta, Balikpapan, Pekan Baru supporting our clients. We have office with 350 personnel with facilities to support up to 70 clients and partners personnel, and a comfortable environment, with close access to major client office and airports.

Pipe Stress & Vibrational Analysis for Petrochemical Company in Malaysia

Synergy's Scope of Work: Pipe Stress & Vibrational Analysis.The objective of the analysis was to detect critical piping, assess vibration risk and to recommend mitigation actions necessary for their compressor pipelines. Synergy's piping team modelled the base stress model to be checked for several load cases, while also performing vibration screening for the dynamic cases based on Energy Institute (EI) guidelines.

MEPA High Co2 Nag Well Dynamic Simulation/ CFD Modelling

Scope of Work: To develop a simulation model representing the flowlines into the main production header, and to estimate the concentration of CO2 ( Max 6%) after the mixing several flow streams downstream of the production header. ⁣⁣

SV Cold Start Up Dynamic Simulation Study

Scope of Work:To perform dynamic simulations for the cold well start up of the SV platform including to determine methanol dosing rate and minimum piping wall temperature, and determine cold metal temperature around blowdown valve for the SV flowline depressurizing.⁣⁣

Jambi Merang LPG Handling – FPU-2 FEED

Client : Jambi Merang Location: Indonesia
Scope of Work: Synergy performed a multidiscipline FEED study for the new FPU, which handles refrigeration and offloading of the LPG product. The work scope included optimization of the process system for the compressor, refrigeration and flash vessels before sending it to the FSO.
Key Project Achievements: Flexibility in accommodating new concept in the middle of the ongoing FEED due to existing operator requirements and multiple interfaces between two different operators and government regulators during the project duration.


Seagood Life Extension Program

Client: Santos Indonesia
Location: Indonesia
Scope of Work: Synergy was commissioned to undertake the life extension review of Seagood 101 FPSO. The scope of the review included 25 systems identified by Santos as requiring a reliability and integrity review. These systems included the process control system, emergency power system, corrosion monitoring and protection system, hydrocarbon and hazardous fluid containment, evacuation and escape system, ignition prevention system, fire and gas system, etc.
Key Project Archievements: Assessed the reliability and integrity of the 25 systems on Seagood 101 FPSO, including on-site inspections and desktop document review and proposed refurbishment measures to extend the operational life of the FPSO for another three years.


Salman Pipeline Waterhammer

Client: Sapura Energy via Peritus International
Field: Salman
Facilities: Water Injection Pipeline
Scope of Work: Synergy was requested to develop Salman field using waterflood recovery.The scope of work includes performing a water hammer study for the water injection pipeline to determine maximum surge pressure and propose options for mitigation measures.
